OVERVIEW: The Truepoll's Million Dollar Follower Challenge Contest comprises several prizes as described in the Winner-Selection rule below. The contest offers the oportunity for Truepoll's twitter page follower to win a grand prize of 1 US$ Million and other prizes.
ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to all around the world except where prohibited by law.
AGREEMENT TO RULES: By participating or accepting any prize, any eligible person agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and to accept all decisions of the Contest judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
CONTEST PERIOD: The contest dutation and close date is mentioned in the contest post on our twitter page.
HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST: During the contest period, you have to follow our twitter page www.twitter.com/truepoll, Retweet the contest post and tag 2 friends to be eligible for the prize draw.
NUMBER OF PRIZES: There are two types of prizes
1.MILLION DOLLAR CASH PRIZE: 1x US$1,000,000 A grand prize of US$ 1 Million or prize equalent to US$1 Million in your local currency at the time of announcement of the winner.
2.3 units of iPphone 14 Pro If we don't reach the set number of followers by the end of the contest closing date as stated in the twitter contest page, we will giveaway 3 iPhone 14 pro’s, one for the selected follower and one each for the two friends tagged by that follower.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend on the number of followers we gain by the end of the twitter contest.
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT: If the set number of followers are reached, the winner will be randomly picked from the pool of eligible followers through the use of a third part winner selection tool monitored by an independent third party.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: The winner will be notified and annouced on our facebook and twitter pages .If the winner fails to respond with in 30 days of the notification, the next person eligible will be announced as the winner.
PRIZE DISBURSAL: The Million Dollar Prize will be paid in cash, payable $US100,000 per year for 10 years. Winnings are subject to tax deductions at source and the same will reflect in the disbursement of the prize money. The first disbursal will start after 90 days from the date of winner announcement.
EXPULSION AND DISQUALIFICATION: During the period of the contest and after winner announcement, if any user or winner is found to use fradulent means to get selected through any form of bots or any other means deemed illegal by truepoll.com management, will be disqualified and the prize forfeited. In this case the next user eligible will be rewarded with the prize.
GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prizes are non-transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, and any applicable federal, central, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for truepoll.com to use the name and likeness of the winner for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Truepoll.com may conduct a background check to confirm any potential winner’s eligibility, compliance with these official Rules. You agree to cooperate reasonably with any such background check. Failure to cooperate may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
GENERAL TERMS: Truepoll.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest in the event any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Truepoll.com's control corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest, or if other circumstances beyond Truepoll.com’s control – including but not limited to Acts of God, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities, pandemic or other causes – makes it impossible or impractical to conduct the contest as contemplated. In the event of any other disruption or cancellation of any other aspect(s) of the contest for any reason, Truepoll.com may s elect the finalist winners from all eligible participants that are unaffected by the problem in a fair and equitable manner as determined by Truepoll.com. Truepoll.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or Entrant who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest or who violates these Official Rules.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering, You agree, to the extent allowed by applicable law, to release and hold harmless Truepoll.com and its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives and employees from any liability, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) Your participation in the contest and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any mobile device, computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the contests; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries.
